Baselight Editions extends the potential of a high – end color scaling system directly onto the Avid timeline in a prominent, flexible, and firmly integrated procedure. This Avx plugin features free layers of colors, grading inside and outside mattes, measurement feathering, point tracking and area tracking — all stand and effortlessly participatory on the Avid timeline, minimising and even eliminating the need to go up into the colour suite with final – minute changes.

Everything you do within Baselight for Avid – or a complete Baselight system– is saved within the task and can be embedded in an Aaf document and / or saved to the Filmlight Blg file structure. The quality can be exported from a complete Baselight suite and imported into Avid, allowing you to quickly use an entire diverse grade without rendering. It includes all grading pieces, tracking content and sometimes sequences so no manual adaption is needed.

And the workflow is wholly reversible– if the grade is changed in Avid it can be exchanged with a Baselight system or sometimes another Avid suite simply being quickly, with all edits intact and without needing to conform.

Without paying anything, Baselight for Avid enables you to view or provide grades transferred between departments using Blg information encoded in Aaf files. It’s ideal for collaboration with colleagues or facilities that don’t have Baselight, or that don’t need total innovative regulate of the stare.
