The software

Microsoft Office 2003 (codenamed Office 11), an office suite, was developed by Microsoft and distributed under its Windows operating platform. Office 2003 was released to manufacturing on August 19, 2003, and was later released to retail on October 21, 2003. It was the successor and predecessor to Office XP.

  • CPU: Intel Pentium 233 MHz Intel Pentium II 400 MHz required for speech recognition, 450 MHz processor required for Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003
  • Memory: 128MB. 256MB is required to run Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2003
  • Hard drive: 220 MB (Student, Teacher, Standard), 380MB (Small Business), and 400 MB respectively (Professional). An additional 190MB of space is needed for Business Contact manager installation.
  • Media: An optical media drive or CD-ROM is required for Office 2003 installation.
  • Graphics hardware: 800×600 (SVGA), with 256 colors
  • Sound hardware: For speech recognition, an audio output device and microphone will be required.
  • Network: Certain advanced collaboration features require Exchange Server 2003 or later. Internet access is required for product activation and online functionality

How to Download and Install Microsoft Office 2003

  1. After clicking the download button(s), you can finish downloading the files. Depending on your download speed, this may take a few minutes or several hours.

  3. Open the “Software Files” and mount “OFFICE11.iso”. This article will show you how to mount files.
  4. Go into the mounted file and run the setup .exe. When asked to insert a serial number, open the “KEY” file in notepad and copy-paste one of the keys into the installation wizard. You are done with the installation.
  5. The full version of Microsoft Office 2003 is now installed on your system.
