About the application

Findit can do everything that the Windows file search can conduct– simply faster and much more conveniently. Above all, Findit searches roughly any type of document for wording posts, any number of words may be searched for and found in any logical mixture. on a single drive, three pulls, or even the entire system. Full email research even works in zips, cabs, pdf. In a zipped archives, even docs that were sent and saved as fax attachments can be located. Findit finds language – if available– but also in songs titles, lyrics, etc. of video folders. Immensely quick full – text search without time – consuming indexing: The tool digs straight through the directories– actually across a network. Around 3000 files with a volume of 3 gigabytes can be searched through in less than ten seconds on a medium-speed office PC. If the search is specifically limited to text files (so that e.g. images and multimedia files are skipped), hundreds of gigabytes can also be searched in less than a minute. Even if zip archives and mail attachments as well as pdf are searched, the data throughput is usually more than 1 gigybe per minute. FINDIT also offers the option of restricting a search with just a few mouse clicks to files from a specific time period, specific file types (e.g. only text), so that in practice data stocks of many gigabytes are often processed after just a few seconds – and that completely without prior indexing !Admittedly, the waiting time is usually even shorter with Index – but although some programs for indexed full-text searches have come onto the market in recent years, the demand for FINDIT, especially from companies and authorities, has increased significantly once again.
